Temporary Delivery Procedures In Response To COVID-19

In order to protect the health and safety of our customers and employees during this difficult period, we have temporarily suspended standard in-home delivery.

For the moment, all deliveries will be made to the exterior of the residence; to the front door, garage door, or even curb-side if preferred. Exceptions can be made - at the discretion of both the homeowner and the delivery personnel - if an extraordinary need for an in-home delivery exists. 

We realize that this temporary change in policy may actually be preferred by most customers but still be an inconvenience to some. Please know that our goal as always is to continue to serve you in the safest way possible


Temporary Transit Times

Transit times are longer than usual due to Covid-19.

Estimated transit times:

Eastern U.S. - 5 - 10 business days

Central U.S. - 10 - 14 business days

Western U.S. - 14 - 21 business days

*Transit times may take longer than the estimated times


Shipping Policy & Regions

Dimchae USA ships to street addresses within the 48 continental United States.

Unfortunately we do not ship to P.O. Boxes, APO/FPO.

Sales tax will be collected only on orders that contain taxable items shipped within New York.

Most orders ship within 48 hours from when the order is received.  Dimchae Refrigerators ship via common freight carrier with average transit time of 7-10 business days.  Once your Dimchae has been processed for shipping, you will receive a shipment notification by email with tracking information and receiving instructions.

Non Refrigerator items ship via Fedex Ground. Please check your shipment notification for tracking information.


Free Shipping Policy

For Kimchi Refrigerators: additional shipping charges may apply for delivery to out of area regions. In these cases, we will contact you by email once your order is processed and ready for shipment.


Return Policy

DimchaeUSA accepts returns within 14 days of receipt on new / unused goods. The merchandise must be in original packaging. The Buyer will be responsible for return shipping costs. A 15% restocking fee will apply if merchandise has been opened or used. Refunds will be issued after item is received and inspected.

In the case of defective or damaged merchandise, product exchange will be provided at no cost to the buyer. If your shipment arrives damaged, simply refuse the shipment noting the damage and request to ship back to sender.


Order Cancellation Policy

For all products, orders may be cancelled for a full refund at any time until the order is shipped. If you cancel your order after it has been shipped, please follow our Return Policy. The cancellation will be treated as a Return with all applicable fees.
